For the past four years, Merrick Palmer has dreamt about opening a local basketball school where kids could learn the finer points of the game he loves so much.
As the technical director for the Gloucester Cumberland Basketball Association (GCBA), Palmer knows firsthand the constant struggle coaches face in trying to teach individual fundamentals at the same time as team concepts such as zone defense and offensive sets.
